A private certifier is an independent practitioner that carries out building rules consents and can be selected at an applicant's discretion. Private Certifiers can perform the same duties as Council and applications for a swimming pool or spa can be made direct to SafeSwim.

SafeSwim will assess your swimming pool or spa application against the technical requirements of the Building Code of Australia, Ministers Specification and Australian Standard.
